Visit from Turners Hill Fire Brigade

Lee, Tom and Dylan from the local fire brigade came to our meeting to tell us about 'Fire Safety in the Home'. Quite a few ladies signed up for a home visit to have their smoke alarms checked etc.

They also demonstrated how to use a defibrillator which worked well with our vote for the resolution 'Bystanders can be Lifesavers'.

Flowers were the subject of our competition and we had a lovely showing.
