I have been a member of Hilltop WI since 2013 and am embarking on my second year as President.

We endeavour to provide a varied and enjoyable programme each year and I really appreciate the help and support of the committee.

Secretary - Mary Deacon

I have been a member of Hilltop WI since 2012 and really enjoy being part of the WI organisation. I was President for two years but for the past 4 have been secretary. It is quite a full on job, keeping everyone up to date with WI news and events, locally and nationally but modern technology makes it easier and a career in the secretarial world definitely helps.

I joined once I had given up work to make new friends and rekindle old ones, having lived in Turners Hill for 15 years until 1996, and extend my interests in a social way.

I had thought that not being ‘crafty’ might be a problem but there is such a wide range of activities, there really is something for everyone.

My husband, Bruce, built and updates the website for Hilltop, which is a great asset and has definitely moved us into the 21st century.

Vice President - Tina Shea

I am a long-term member of Hilltop WI, since 2006 and have lived in the village for over 50 years. I have held various posts on the committee over the year and am happy to stand as Vice President for the second year running.
